Robert A. Wolverton
Rob has had an entrepreneurial spirit since he was young. After graduating from North Kansas City High School in 1981, Rob began to set his sights on how he could use that spirit professionally.
He attended William Jewell College, where he graduated in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Though he initially took a job as an auditor, his adventurous and innovative spirit took hold, and Rob left the corporate life and struck out on his own as a consultant for a variety of businesses. After spending 5 years on the West Coast, he and his wife, Christi, decided to return to their Midwestern roots and moved to Columbia, Mo. in 1994.
Rob began to envision where he would make his niche — where his strong originality, friendly personality, love for his family and that same, lasting entrepreneurship could all meet. Rob decided a career in real estate would be a perfect starting point.
After mentoring under Jackie Bulgin & Associates with House of Brokers, Rob decided to partner with Jackie's group. Working with Jackie brought Rob into contact with her husband, Lawrence Bulgin, a seasoned builder and developer in Columbia. Rob and Lawrence decided to re-enter the development business as partners.
Rob discovered the intersection of his personality and passion, and decided developing neighborhoods would be his niche in the community. Now Rob’s entrepreneurship has again led him to create his own company — this time, with the goal of providing opportunities to others in the community who desire to create quality neighborhoods for Columbia.
Throughout his development career, Rob has had the privilege of working with outstanding business leaders in Columbia such as Lawrence Bulgin, Bob Walters, Bob Pugh, and Bob LeMone. Rob continues to serve his community through his service on various boards and committees such as the Columbia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Central Missouri Development Council Board of Directors and Woodcrest Church's building committee.
